Joint  Replacement Physical Therapy

Hip replacement, knee replacement, and shoulder replacement are slow recovery processes. We help you regain range of motion (ROM) and strength.

Our goal is for you to regain or maintain your independence after a joint replacement, like knee replacement, hip replacement, or shoulder replacement. We motivate and challenge you, while being compassionate and understanding.

Arthritis Therapy

Arthritis joint pain can be treated with more than medication. Geriatric Physical Therapy  can be an effective option to help manage arthritis symptoms.

Physical Therapy can help manipulate damaged joints to make them more mobile, and help you become more active.

Geriatric Physical Therapy works to strengthen joints that have been weakened by arthritis. Physical therapy exercises help reduce joint pain and stiffness, as well as improve range of motion and strength.

Spinal Stenosis

Impingement of the spinal cord or spinal nerves can be a serious condition. Physical therapists can help alleviate the impingement by improving spinal joint mobility, correcting posture, and addressing muscle flexibility. Core strengthening will also be addressed.

Regain Strength After Surgery or Sickness

Injuries or extended illnesses can knock anyone down. As we age, our ability to recover quickly is diminished.

Allow our physical therapists to work with you to regain your strength and endurance after a hospital stay or injury.

We will complete a comprehensive evaluation and develop a treatment plan. We will meet with you and your caregivers. Our Geriatric Physical Therapy plan includes fall prevention strategies, strengthening exercises and home safety modifications. A licensed physical therapist also ensures you are properly fitted for a walker or cane.

Improve Safety & Independence

Our physical therapists empower our patients to stay in their homes and avoid extended care facilities.

We will help asses your home and provide information on home safety modifications.

Caregivers are also provided instructions for Geriatric Physical Therapy at home and important strategies to help you remain independent.
